The top manager and e-commerce expert Terry von Bibra will provide strategic support to Lengow and accompany the company internationally.
Paris, July 15th, 2021 – Terry von Bibra, former General Manager Europe of Alibaba and Executive Manager from Amazon and Yahoo! joins the Advisory Board of Lengow, a European SaaS platform for e-commerce automation. Based in France and Germany, Lengow is the European market leader roviding over 4,600 brands and retailers such as Nespresso or L’Oréal Paris multichannel management of their e-commerce strategy.
Terry von Bibra previously held management positions at Amazon Europe, Yahoo! EMEA and the German department store chain Karstadt. In 2015, he headed Alibaba’s German business, among others, and rose to become the Chinese e-commerce giant’s European head at the end of 2016. There, he was primarily responsible for raising awareness of the group and introducing European companies to selling to China via Alibaba’s platforms. Effective immediately, von Bibra will now serve as an advisor to Lengow’s corporate strategy. His many years of experience with top e-commerce companies will help Lengow with its further internationalization. Earlier this year, the $8 billion global investment fund Marlin Equity Partners secured a majority stake in Lengow.
Terry von Bibra’s entry into Lengow’s Advisory Board takes place in a larger strategic context. The company is placing an even stronger focus on the German market, with the aim to continue to drive international growth and additionally expand into new markets.
