Challenges and goals

Clarins wanted to work with Lengow as soon as it launched its e-commerce activity.

The idea was to centralise all distribution channels and actions in a single platform.

Clarins was looking to distribute its product ranges quickly and easily in many countries while remaining as autonomous as possible

Solutions provided by Lengow

Clarins has been using the Lengow platform since 2012 to distribute the products of 18 of its e-commerce sites (U.S., Europe, Asia) on marketing channels: affiliation, retargeting, product ads or price comparison sites (Google, Facebook, Criteo, etc.). Each market is now able to distribute catalogues of 500-600 up-to-date and optimised products in many countries and on all kinds of channels.

Lengow allows Clarins to personalise its catalogues for each distribution channel: highlighted products, brand visibility, etc. The solution is well set-up, allowing Clarins to easily manage the offers it wants to promote online. Clarins uses several tools available in the platform such as additional sources to highlight personalised images, more “lifestyle” on certain channels such as Google and social platforms. The client also uses automatic rules to flag “best sellers” or new products, allowing them to place higher bids on these products.

Clarins particularly appreciates the support received (calls in French and English with the different teams, demos, reactive technical support, etc.).
