International online expansion of EfectoLED with help from Lengow

The company’s goal is to bring about new changes in this technology with toplevel products. Like this, EfectoLED can help improve the environment by reducing electricity consumption and offering affordable prices to everyone.

Challenges & objectives

Before working with Lengow, efectoLED only worked through its official channel – its website. The need to find a tool like Lengow arose when starting its adventure on marketplaces, specifically on Amazon.

One of its objectives was to distribute products on the main online platforms. In 2015, Amazon began to emerge, and others like eBay also became essential.

At that point, efectoLED was faced with technical realities, since each channel that it intended to use required a different data structure. And this, for a company that had only been around for one year and had limited resources, required additional effort. It had to dedicate one person exclusively to each channel, since adapting its data feed to each structure was a laborious job. This had to be done each time it wanted to add new products, update existing products, or simply update prices or stock.

In 2015, efectoLED contacted Lengow for a demo of the platform, which quickly convinced them that it met their needs and offered everything that the brand expected.

Solutions provided by Lengow

The client started working with Lengow in 2015, after the demo, with a very simple integration:

  • Integration with the system in use at efectoLED at the time, without any technical knowledge being necessary. Like many e-commerce sites, efectoLED was working with Prestashop. It only took a short time to install the Lengow module and connect to the platform.
  • Once the streams were loaded, the client was free to adapt them for each channel without affecting the information on its own site.

Today, three people are responsible for managing Lengow, two are responsible for the marketplace channels, and one person is in charge of retargeting, advertisements, and marketing. The brand currently distributes its products on Amazon, eBay, ManoMano, Fnac, Privalia, Darty, Carrefour, Allegro, Cdiscount, Worten, KuantoKusta, Ubaldi, El Corte Ingles, Google, Facebook, Pinterest, ePrice and Leroy Merlin, in France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Poland, etc.

With Lengow, it is easy for efectoLED to set up a channel; however complex it may be, it can be fully configured in a few hours. In addition, with Automatic Rules, any conditions can be easily put in place. Here are some classic rules that have become indispensable to the client: security stock, price increases per channel or exclusion rules.

Lengow is an essential tool that helps efectoLED to optimise all its data streams in the best way for each channel, the platform indicates what the essential attributes are at all times and how to fulfill them to get the best results.

Thanks to the customization and optimization offered by Lengow and the time savings that this allows, we are able to develop across all channels and achieve results in a relatively short time, without having to worry about the continuous technical changes to the channel.
